bar

Rulmeca Corporation will display a variety of Motorized Pulleys, emphasizing mining, especially in coal, iron, copper, and salt.

MINExpo 2012:
Rulmeca Corporation will display Motorized Pulleys in Booth#4615 in the Central Hall. In addition to cut-aways and the dual drive display, a Miniveyor, powered by a model 138E Motorized Pulley, will be shown. The international exhibition is scheduled for September 24-26, 2012 at the Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.
Dual Drive Demo/Road Show Trailer:
Booth equipment will include walk-in office with HDTV, photographs, and literature describing a wide array of Motorized Pulley applications, including the 5.5" diameter 0.5 HP model 138E in copper mine soil reclamation, the 24" diameter 75 HP model 630H in salt handling, and the 40" diameter 330 HP model 1000HD in coal handling.
Underground Coal Mines:
Rulmeca Motorized Pulleys have been in service in various underground coal mines for years. The "EZMP" dual drive system shown here powers the panel belts at the Cline Resources "Maryan Mine" in the Illinois Coal Basin. The EZMP is also in service for a major coal producer in West Virginia.
Iron Mines:
The bucket wheel reclaimer shown here was outfitted with two Rulmeca Motorized Pulleys in 1985. Since that time more than 200 million tons of iron ore taconite pellets have been handled by the drives at a major iron ore loading facility on the US Great Lakes, a US record.
Salt Mines:
Since the our meeting at the MINExpo 2004 Show, Cargill Deicing and Rulmeca Corporation have cooperated to convert badly corroded exposed drive systems with Rulmeca Motorized Pulleys. Pulleys currently in service include the model 500M, 630H, and 800M, with powers from 20 HP to 75 HP.
