New Rulmeca Road Show Embarks on 8,000 Mile North American Trip

| Departing Wilmington, NC in February 2008, the Rulmeca Road Show will present onsite Motorized Pulley demonstrations throughout 2008. | |||
 New Rulmeca Road Show Trailer :
Rulmeca personnel will show how the company's internally-powered and hermetically-sealed conveyor belt drives increase system reliability, decrease maintenance expense, improve safety, and save space using the company's new trailer.

 8,000 Mile Itinerary:
Embarking from Wilmington, NC the 8,000 mile itinerary will include onsite exhibitions at mines, power plants, steel mills, engineering companies, equipment manufacturing plants, intermodal transportation terminals and other bulk handling facilities in more than 30 states.

 New Dual Drive Demo Conveyor:
Included with the Road Show, a new fully functioning conveyor demo will show how a Dual Drive System can extend the life of conveyor belts, pillow blocks, and pulleys. Demonstration will also show the relationship between belt wrap and slack side tension (T2.)

Variable Frequency Drives:
Incorporating two variable frequncy drives into the conveyor, the demonstration will include a presentation on setting parameters at allowable frequency spectrum and filtering output to avoid resonance-induced voltage spikes.

Full Load Simulation:
Simulating full load, the working conveyor will display full load amperage under single and dual drive arrangments and demonstrate (1.) how Motorized Pulleys dissipate heat and (2.) how Rulmeca's built-in thermal protection switches protect the system from heat build-up.
