Rulmeca Corporation joined several corporate sponsors and four local churches in making “Night to Shine 2020” an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for more than 300 people with special needs ages 14 and older, on Friday, February 7, 2020 in Wilmington, North Carolina. Nearly 1,000 people attended the event.
The Tim Tebow Foundation has a great passion for people with special needs and, in 2014, launched “Night to Shine.” The vision was to work with churches, volunteers, and sponsors around the country to provide an incredible prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. This February, 721 churches and 215,000 volunteers came together on one night, celebrating 115,000 honored guests with special needs. This unforgettable prom night experience changed Valentine’s Day weekend from simply a celebration of love, to a celebration of God’s love for people with special needs and the value of life. This year events were held in all 50 US states and 34 countries on 6 continents. Festivities included dancing, karaoke, food, paparazzi, games, and funny photos.
The evening was filled with fun, music, and laughter. Here Mike and his honored guest posed for a “funny photo.”
