Rulmeca Corporation welcomed Luke Brew to the Rulmeca family as Vulcanizing Technician on August 28, 2023. In his new position, Luke will handle the entire rubber vulcanizing process, including: prepping shells, wrapping shells with uncured nitrile compound and vulcanizing tape, setting up and operating the autoclave and grinding lathe, and performing all part inspections and documentation.
Having obtained his CNC machinist training at the NASCAR Technical Institute and relevant experience in the Wilmington area, Luke will play a vital role in bringing the Horizon project to life. With the addition of a vulcanizing technician, Rulmeca is now fully staffed to assemble, test, and repair a wide portfolio of fully lagged Motorized Pulleys at the Wilmington facility.
